On this page you will find my free patterns for you to enjoy. These patterns do not include instructional photos like my other patterns do, however if you are already familiar with my pattern style, you should have no problem understanding.
You will need:
Machines: 22 pin machine. 4 or 6 pin I-cord machine
Yarn: pink, multi, black, white
Other supplies: needle for casting off and sewing on parts, stuffing, 15mm safety eyes
Optional: hot glue gun
Body/head:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with pink
Work 50 rounds
Cast off
Flatten and cinch. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Add safety eyes to one end approx. 1 inch from the cinched end and 1 inch apart (through both layers - the backs will be hidden later). Add white eye accents and black mouth detail if you wish.
Fold this piece in half lengthways with the eyes on the outside.
Sew along the sides joining both edges, but do not sew the end with the eyes (the head) yet, leave approx. 2 inches left un-sewn.
Stuff the head part only.
Finish by sewing the head closed.
Flatten this piece so that the sewn part is in the center (this will be the side we join to the shell).
Shell piece - make 2:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with multi
Work 20 rounds
Cast off
Double up and flatten this piece to make a flat circle with the cinched ends in the center.
Tie the loose ends together to secure and hide loose ends inside.
Place the two shell pieces in a stack (like an Oreo) and sew around to join the edges. before you finish sewing, add some stuffing to make a soft ball shape.
Sew (or glue) the shell to the body part of the snail, making sure you have a small piece sticking out at the back for the tail and the head is in an upright position.
Antennae - make 2:
On your 4 or 6 pin machine
Cast on with multi
Work 10 rounds (make a cord approx. 1 inch long)
Cast off
Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Sew (or glue) antennae to the top of the head approx. 1 inch apart.
You will need:
Machines: 22 pin machine.
Yarn: this project is great for using up your scrap yarn as it uses small amounts of many colors.
I am using: White, Yellow, Mint, Pink, Brown, Red, Green
Other supplies: needle, scissors, hot glue,
Note:
I am using hot glue to attach the pieces. You can sew if you prefer.
Bowl:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with white
Work 45 rounds
Cast off
Flatten and cinch both ends. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Pinch to fold each cinched end and sew a couple stitches - make this piece into a canoe shape.
Banana - make 2:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with light yellow
Work 30 rounds
Cast off
Flatten and cinch both ends. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Fold in half lengthways and sew along the sides joining both edges to secure the fold.
Glue the two banana pieces in the bowl side by side.
Ice cream - make 3:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with ice cream color (I am using pink, brown, and mint)
Work 15 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch the ends to make a flat circle with the cinched ends in the center.
Hot glue the 3 flat pieces, in a row, on top of the bananas.
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with ice cream color (I am using pink, brown, and mint)
Work 25 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Add stuffing.
Using a length of yarn, create a drawstring around the open end. Pull the drawstring gently to almost close it - leave approx. 1 inch opening. Tie to secure the drawstring and hide loose ends inside.
Sew sprinkles on.
Hot glue the open end of this piece to the corresponding colored flat circle.
Cream - make 3:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with white
Work 9 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch the ends to make a circle (it will not be completely flat) with the cinched ends in the center.
Glue this piece to the top of the ice cream.
Cherry - make 3:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with red
Work 8 rounds
Cast off
Flatten this piece and cinch both ends, secure and hide loose ends inside.
Fold this piece in half and add a bit of stuffing inside the fold. Sew the folded edges together to make a ball.
Add a short length (approx. 1 inch) of green yarn to the top of the ball to make a stalk.
Hot glue the cherry on top of the cream..
You will need:

Cone: light brown, Ice cream: pink, Cherry: red, green Sprinkles: use any color you like. I am using mint, yellow, and hot pink

Cone:

Cast on with light brown
Work 40 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Fold the closed (cinched) end and sew to make a cone shape.
Add stuffing to the wide end of the cone.
Ice cream:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with pink
Work 17 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch the ends to make a flat circle with the cinched ends in the center.
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with pink
Work 30 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Add stuffing.
Using a length of yarn, create a drawstring around the open end. Pull the drawstring gently to almost close it - leave a 1 inch opening. Tie to secure the drawstring and hide loose ends inside.
Hot glue the open end of this piece to the flat circle.
Hot glue the flat side of the ice cream to the top of the cone.
Cherry
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with red
Work 8 rounds
Cast off
Flatten this piece and cinch both ends, secure and hide loose ends inside.
Fold this piece in half and add a bit of stuffing inside the fold. Sew the folded edges together to make a ball.
Add a short length (approx. 1 inch) of green yarn to the top of the ball to make a stalk.
Hot glue the cherry to the top of the ice cream.
Sprinkles:
Using any colors you like, sew strands of yarn to the ice cream to create the sprinkles

Add safety eyes approx. 1.5 inches from the top of the head and approx. 1 inch apart. Add white eye accents if you wish.
Add stuffing.
Using a length of yarn, create a drawstring around the open end. Pull the drawstring gently to close it. Tie and sew end closed to secure, hide all loose ends inside the body.
Create the neck: Tie a length of yarn around to create a neck. Hide all loose ends inside.
Nose:

Flatten and cinch both ends.
Sew this piece across the face directly under the eyes. Add a tiny bit of stuffing before you finish sewing it on.
Arm - make 2:

Roll this piece. Sew along the arm to secure the roll.

Frill piece - make 7:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with mint green
Work 6 rounds
Cast off
(this piece is small and fiddly so take your time)
Flatten this piece and cinch both ends, secure the cinched ends and hide loose ends inside.
Sew the frill pieces to the head.
Secure and hide loose ends inside the head.
Tail:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with mint green
Work 8 rounds
Change to pink
Work 4 rounds
Cast off
Flatten this piece and cinch the pink end, secure the cinched end and hide loose ends inside.
Cinch the other end gently but do not cinch all the way.
Roll this piece into a cone shape. The pink end should be the pointy end of the cone.
Sew to secure the roll and add a small amount of stuffing. Sew the open end of the cone to the back side of the body.
Horn - make 3:
Using pink felt. Cut a small semi-circle shape.
Roll this into a cone shape and use hot glue to secure. Glue the horns to the head - one above each eye and one onto the nose.

Yarn: grey, pink, black
Other supplies: needle for casting off and sewing on parts, stuffing, 15mm safety eyes,
Body/head:
On your 22 pin machine

Work 80 rounds

Double up and cinch. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Add safety eyes approx. 1.5 inches from the top of the head and approx. 1 inch apart. With black yarn, add some eyelashes to the outer edge of the eyes if you wish.
Add stuffing.
Using a length of grey yarn, create a drawstring around the open end. Pull the drawstring gently to close it. Tie and sew end closed to secure, hide all loose ends inside the body.
Create the neck: Tie a length of grey yarn around to create a neck. Hide all loose ends inside.
Nose:

Sew this piece across the face directly under the eyes. Add stuffing before you finish sewing it on.
Add nostrils by sewing two X's with pink yarn
Ear - make 2:

Create the neck: Tie a length of light tan yarn around the neck - this is the part where the color change is. Hide all loose ends inside.
With light tan yarn - sew a nose.
With black yarn - sew a mouth.
Hat:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with black
Work 32 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch both ends to make a small hat. Secure and hide loose ends.
Place the hat on the head and sew (or glue) in place.
Antennae - make 2:
On your I-cord machine
Cast on with black
Work 10 rounds (or make an i-cord approx. 1 inch long)
Cast off
Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Sew the antennae to the top of the hat approx. 2 inches apart.
Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Arm - make 2:

Using a length of light pink yarn, create a drawstring around the open end. Pull the drawstring gently to close it. Tie and sew end closed to secure, hide all loose ends inside the body.
Create the neck: Tie a length of light pink yarn around the area that you want the neck, make sure the head portion is slightly bigger than the body portion. Hide all loose ends inside.
With black yarn - sew a mouth.
Gill - make 6:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with dark pink
Work 5 rounds
Cast off
Flatten and cinch both ends, sew a few stitches to secure the cinched ends, hide loose ends inside.
Sew 3 gills to each side of the head - the cinched ends are the sides of the gill.
Secure and hide all loose ends inside.
Leg - make 4:

Fold this piece in half, lengthways. Sew along the edge to secure the fold.

Sew ears to the side of the head, just below the horns.
Bangs/hair:
Tie some short lengths of orange yarn to the top of the head and fray the yarn to make the bangs fluffy. Trim to the desired length. I trimmed mine so they were just over the top of the eyes.
Leg - make 2:

Other supplies: Needle for casting off and sewing on parts, stuffing, 23mm safety eyes (or size of your choice), fur, hot glue (the last two items are optional).

You can sew some fluffy grey yarn around the edge of the ear if you want to make them fluffy, or like I did, hot glue a strip of grey fur around the edge of the ear.
Eucalyptus branch:
On your 4 pin I-cord machine
Cast on with brown
Make a cord approx. 6 inches long
Cast off.
Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Leaf - make 2:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with green
Work 5 rounds
Cast off
Flatten and cinch both ends, secure loose ends inside.
Sew the leaves to the end of the branch to finish.
You will need:
Machines: 22 pin machine
Yarn: Green. Small amount of black and pink for the face detail.
Other supplies: Needle for casting off and sewing on parts, stuffing, 15mm safety eyes, 2 x 25mm white or cream felt circles, hot glue.
Body/head:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with green

Double up and cinch. Secure and hide loose ends inside.

Tie a length of green yarn around the area that you want the neck - to create the neck. Hide all loose ends inside.
Eye piece - make 2:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with green
Work 6 rounds
Cast off
Flatten and cinch both ends, secure loose ends inside.
Sew the eye pieces to the top of the head with a 1 inch gap between them.
Secure and hide all loose ends inside.
Add the safety eyes to the center of the felt circles, making sure the back is on tight, and then hot glue them to the green eye pieces.
Using black yarn - embroider a mouth, and using pink yarn - add the cheeks.
Leg - make 2:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with green
Work 20 rounds
Cast off
Flatten this piece and cinch both ends, secure and hide loose ends inside.
Tightly roll this piece, leaving about 1 inch at one end unrolled. Sew the rolled part to secure and hide all loose ends inside. Open the other end out, like a fan, to make a foot.
Sew the legs to the bottom sides of the body with the feet pointing forwards.
Arm - make 2:

Make the arms the same way you did the legs. sew to the front sides of the body so that the hands sit in between the legs.
This pattern is for the drum and hat add-on accessories for the the teddy bear pattern. The teddy bear is a paid pattern you can find in my Etsy store.
You will need:
Machines: 46 (or 48) pin, 22 pin, and 4 pin I-cord machine
Yarn: red, yellow, white, blue
Other supplies: needle, scissors, 4.5mm crochet hook (if you can't crochet you can use the cord machine for this part), hot glue, a circle of cardboard with diameter of 4.5 inches
Drum Base:
On your 46 (or 48) pin machine
Cast on with red
Work 50 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch both ends. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Shape this piece into a bowl and add the cardboard circle into the bottom to make a flat base
Drum top:
On your 46 (or 48) pin machine
Cast on with white
Work 30 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch the ends to make a flat circle with the cinched ends in the center.
Stuff the red drum base and then sew the white drum top around the top edge of the drum base. Sew this piece carefully and evenly to get a clean edge.
To finish the drum, sew yellow zigzag lines around the side of the drum and using your 4.5mm crochet hook single crochet around the top and bottom edge of the drum.
*If you cannot crochet - make 2 (approx. 16 inch) I-cords and attach them with hot glue (or sew if you prefer) around the top and bottom edge of the drum.
Use a strand of red yarn to create a strap for the drum to go around the teddy bear's neck. join the strap on each side of the drum near the top edge. The strap should be approx. 17 inches long.
Drumstick - make 2:
On your 4 pin machine
Cast on with blue
Make an I-cord approx. 6 inches long
Cast off
Secure and cinch each end. Hide loose ends inside.
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with red
Work 8 rounds
Cast off
Flatten this piece and cinch both ends, secure and hide loose ends inside.
Fold this piece in half and add a bit of stuffing inside the fold. Sew the folded edges together to make a ball.
Hot glue (or sew) this piece to one end of the I-cord to finish the drumstick.
Hat:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with blue
Work 40 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch. Hide loose ends inside.
Fold up the brim of the hat and glue (or sew) to keep the brim folded in place if you wish.
Add a yellow pompom to the top of the hat.
Glue (or sew) the hat to the top of the head.
Bonus accessory:
To make the bunting around the teddy bear's neck I cut small triangles out of felt and threaded them onto a piece of red yarn. I then tied the bunting around the neck of the bear to finish.

Double up and cinch. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Add safety eyes to the green (head) end approx. 1 inch apart and 1.5 inches from the top.
Add stuffing.
Using a length of brown yarn, create a drawstring around the open (brown) end. Pull the drawstring gently to close it. Tie and sew end closed to secure, hide all loose ends inside the body.
Tie a length of green yarn around the part were the green and white meet to create the neck. Hide all loose ends inside.
Beak (bill):
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with yellow
Work 15 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch, secure loose ends inside.
This piece will want to lay flat like a small circle so you need to push your thumb inside and shape it like a tiny hat so that the cinched ends are at one end and you have an opening at the other end. Flatten this piece, the open end will be the end that you sew to the face.
Sew the beak to the face directly below the eyes.
Secure and hide all loose ends inside.
Feet - make 2:

Cast off
Flatten this piece and cinch both ends, secure and hide loose ends inside.
Sew the feet to the underside of the body, so that they are pointing out at the front.
Wing - make 2:

Flatten this piece and cinch both ends, secure and hide loose ends inside.
Sew the wings to the side of the body, with the tip end of the wing pointing towards the back.
To finish: Add some green hair and white eye accents (optional).

Using a length of yellow yarn, create a drawstring around the open (yellow) end. Pull the drawstring gently to close it. Tie and sew end closed to secure, hide all loose ends inside the body.
Wings:
On your 22 pin machine

This piece will make both wings - no need to make 2 pieces.
Cinch both ends and flatten the piece to make a circle with the cinched parts in the center.
Wrap one of the loose ends around the center of the circle piece, pull tight and tie to the other loose end to secure, this will create two smaller circles which will be the wings.
Sew the wings on to the back of the bee to finish
You will need:

Head/body

Add safety eyes approx 2.5 inches from the top (the cinched end) and approx 2.5 inches apart.
Add stuffing.
Make a drawstring around the bottom (the open end) and pull the drawstring to close, finish closing with a few stitches.
Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Tie a length of white yarn around the body approx 2.5 inches below the eyes to create the neck indent.
Hat:
On your 46 or 48 pin machine
Cast on with color of your choice
Work 60 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch both ends. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Place hat on snowman's head, if you want you can use hot glue to secure it in place.
Hot glue a pompom to the top of the hat.
Scarf:
On your 22 pin machine
Cast on with color of your choice

Flatten and cinch both ends.
Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Tie the scarf around the snowman's neck.
Nose:
This part is very fiddly so take your time.

Roll or fold this piece lengthways to create a carrot shape, sew to secure the roll in place.
Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Hot glue nose to the face to finish.

Place a can inside the cozy - this will help you place the facial features and electrodes correctly.
Electrodes - make 2:

Flatten this piece and cinch both ends, secure and hide loose ends inside.
Fold this piece in half and add a bit of stuffing inside the fold. Sew the folded edges together to make a ball.
Hot glue (or sew) this piece to the sides, close to the bottom.
Face and scar features:
Using red and black yarn, sew on the face features, I placed the scar to the side of the forehead, but another option could be to have the scar going all the way around the head. Tie each piece of yarn on the inside of the cozy to secure.

Put the flat base inside the bottom of the ghost body approx. half an inch up inside. sew the base in place.
Arm - make 2

Flatten and cinch both ends. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Sew or glue arms to the side of the body.
Details:
Using black embroidery thread add a mouth. Add a pink bow to the top of the head and using pink chalk or blush, add the cheeks.
Sign:
Cut a rectangle of paper approx. 2 x 1 inches and use the sharpie to write your message. I wrote BOO! but you could write happy halloween or any another halloween message you like.
Glue the paper to a toothpick to make the sign.
Push the sign into the arm of the ghost to finish.

Feathers - make 7

Cast on with feather color (I am making 3 yellow, 2 red, 2 dark brown)
Work 16 rounds
Cast off
Double up and cinch the ends to make a flat circle with the cinched ends in the center.
Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Sew the feathers to the back of the turkey so you can see them when looking at the turkey from the front.
Wing - make 2

Work 12 rounds

Flatten and cinch both ends. Secure and hide loose ends inside.
Sew the wings to the side of the body.
Beak and wattle
Using red and yellow felt, cut a beak and wattle shape. Hot glue to the face between and below the eyes.
